Chapter 8

Welcome back!  Yeah I know it's been a bit, but I've been busy, busy, busy.  I hope you noticed a few changes!  I'm planning on having a poll or 2 after I finish this.
Also, I would really appreciate if you would comment.  I'd like to thank Skip45 who has already done such on the Sims 3 website..  It means a lot when people comment.  I t shows me that you guys are reading and me and Skip45 are not the only ones.
Now on with the story...
Even with the theif, Geonna managed to get plenty of sleep before get up at 6 AM.  Sometimes you gotta congratulate these people
Geonna: Finally!!
Actually..uh..I meant-Oh never mind. Congrats Geonna!
Geonna: Thank you! and you! and you and you and you, too!
Well that sounded great...except you pointed to thin air.
Geonna: Of course darlin'! Tuh! You don't understand.
Sheesh. You ruined a perfeectly be-a-u-ti-ful moment.
Geonna: Actually, that was you.
Look, don't you have school or something?
Geonna: Not for an hour!  Anyway, don't YOU have anything better, either?
Not really, no.
Geonna: Hmmph.
Since Tresing was up yet, Geonna took care of Jesus.
Only to have Tresing wake up before she could leave.
Geonna:*blushing* Oh hi.
Tresing: Hi.
Geonna: I didn't mean to wake you, I just thought I should...
Tresing: *shaking head* No worries. You didn't wake me.
Geonna: Oh.
Tresing: Yeah...er. I can take Jesus, now, if you...uh...you know...want me to.
Geonna: Oh! Yeah, but no. You don't need to do that.
Tresing: Oh. Ok.
Geonna: Listen, Tresing.  I've been thinking about what you said about a part-time job.
Tresing: Really! Me, too!
Geonna: You were? Oh. Well anyway. I've been thinking that really, it isn't my place to say whether you get a job or not.  I shouldn't be forcing restrictions like that on you.
Tresing: Yeah? Well, I was thinking that maybe, you were right.  That boy.  He's an amazing little fella.  If you don't need the money...
Geonna: I don't.
Tresing: I didn't want a job in the first place.  I was worried that you would get angry.  I guess I'm not used to just sitting down, and not worrying, you know.
Geonna: I know.

Geonna: Well, I gotta go. Work you know.  I'll put little Jesus in the high chair on the way out.
Tresing: Ok.  I'll get him food. You get to work.
Geonna: Oh I see how it is.  I guess you think I'm too used to sitting down and not worrying.
Both: *laughing*
Jesus: What are we going to do today, Daddy?
Tresing:  You are going to play with you horses
(In the toy chest Jesus got, the only toys are horses)
Tresing: I'm going to clean up.  I want everything to be sparkling when Geonna gets home from work.
Jesus: I like Aunty Geonna. She's pretty.
Tresing: So she is.
Awww. Jesus is so cute.
Jesus: *winks*

Meanwhile Tresing set to work.  For some reason he still didn't know he wanted everything to be perfect, for her.
Along with everything else, Tresing payed the bills.
Tresing couldn't help but notice the sharp increse since they had moved in.  The toys for Jesus had nearly doubled the taxes for that month.
Tresing: Hmmmm

Tresing put the taxes in the mail.  He didn't want to voice his concerns, but he knew he had to do something to raise money.  It wasn't fair for her to feed them, buy Jesus gifts, and babysit Jesus, without recieving something substantial in return.  He was helpng around the house, but somehow he felt that wasn't enough...
After all that cleaning, Tresing decided to take a nap.  Jesus could take care of himself.  After all, he used to before they were invited t- but the thought would have to sit because Tresing was fast asleep.
I hope you liked the chapter.  I know it's short but I hope it helped make the story more interesting.  A poll will be up in a moment.
